  In his youth he once held the title of High Adviser in the Royal Court of Dragia, and was known widely as Head Warlock for Queen Dianna, whom favoured him greatly. At the peak of his professional life, he also devoted his time as Archmage at the College of Dragia, and was both revered and admired for his scholarly accomplishments.
  
  Yet let us start at the beginning, and not the middle. A young Aniikin was orphaned at birth, and taken into the kingdom under the guidance of an old Elven Wizard who held a rare title as friend of the dragons. Raven, was his name, a man who dressed in flowing robes of white with a gentle smile and silver tongue of lies.
  
  Aniikin's childhood consisted of constant ridicule for his appearance. The flamboyant creature was notably different from his peers in every way possible. He was not a pure bred dragon, but nor was he even the offspring of a human. Pure dragons were easily identified by the brilliant set of wings upon their shoulders and maintained constant control over their dragonic spirits. Able to shift between their human and feral forms at will. The half-human offspring were often trapped in their human forms and left flightless. Instead they were born with more feral like qualities to their humanoid appearance. Some were lucky enough to have scales covering their humanoid shapes, with the strong talons of their kin and the upper torso of a man. These were the sons or daughters of pure dragons were often cursed to having no magical core and would live their lives trapped in a half-feral state. Pure Dragons, however, did not shun their mix-breed kin. Instead they allowed them to train in the more laborious actives and used them for guards and foot soldiers where the more delicate of magic users could not survive harsher conditions.
  
  Aniikin was born of a dragon maiden and one of the last known spirit reapers. Reapers, or Kleona were a rare breed of a mythical being upon his home world. Their numbers were believed to have dwindled so low that they were forced to mask themselves as humans and blend into their natural environments. These mythical creatures were once though to have been the children of the Gods Sagni and Savi; the god's of death and life respectfully. The guardians travelled both worlds to take the souls of the departed to their final resting places. These guardians of the dead were often vibrant in hues and tones in order to capture the attention of the dead and help them follow the right path through the current of Thanna. Their appearances rumoured to resembled that of a large snow leopard, with tails believed once to have reached impossible lengths to trail behind them as a banner in the darkness. They were also admired for the lustrous manes of vibrant colours their feral forms.
  
  Aniikin remember very little about his mother, even less about his father. He held only vague memories of Raven plucking him from the runes of a temple, and beseeching the floating Fortress of Aveon to take him into their care and to guide him.
  
  As a result of Aniikin's parentage, his natural affinity over the elements was distinctly unique then another other dragons. The halfbreed had a natural control over all elements, unlike his breathren who were born with one element to manipulate. While his brethren could learn to control other elements with training, his control came with little effort. Also he developed the ability to leech power from those elements and funnel them into his spells. Being able to siphon energy left him nearly tireless and a formidable opponent.
  
  However the large ears perched on his head and the lengthy trail trailing behind him were quite often made him a target of verbal and physical abuse during his youth. Yet, what most seemed to resented him for was the fact he was the only half dragon to have wings. Brilliant vibrant pink scales smoothed rough white leather that filled air in a wingspan rivalled even the purest dragons-- the oldest and most refined of them all. Due to this, Aniikin was often the source of amusement for his fellows growing up. Many things which revolved around the occasional setting of his tail on fire to spitefully attempting to cut his wings clean from his back.
  
  Child hood days behind him, Aniikin grew into a powerful warlock, surpassing the status of wizards and mages who had once thought to ridicule him. It was not long before his scholarly advances had him claiming title as Archmage at the Collage of the Dragia in Aveon, and his studies in the olde world magic of their founding deities earned him the attention of their Queen, Dianna.
  
  Aniikin had never been one for concerning himself with the politics of their realm, but, his status as Archmage slowly had him becoming more involved in the Queen's counsel as whisper's of War bloomed on the wind. He banded together their resources, and at the approval of their Queen fortified the defences of their fortress and surrounding lands.
  
  For the Dragia's lands were a chain of floating islands well above the mountains of the south; typically completely isolated from other races. They controlled the traffic in and out of their kingdom with extreme proficiency, and typically only when beseech by other races for aid, did they emerge from their crystal and golden walls to see the world beyond. More then content were they to remain isolated from a world that feared them for past transgressions.
  
  But in their complacency and desire for isolation, the Dragon's only allowed rumors to grow and mound until tensions were thick and political relations fragile things. The breaking point in their union's with other races came in the battered form of a Golden Dragon from the lands of Insenare. Prince Leonin, they heralded him as friend to the Queen of Dragons, a Nomia Royal from Insenare-- a halfbreed that had been born to a human king and left behind in the great migration to the kingdom of Aveon under Dianna's rule.
  
  Prince Leonin came with the grave news that his father had passed, and that the crown had been stolen from him. None could see the darkness that lurked in the feral corners of the Golden Dragon's eyes, the way his fangs gnashed together in unnatural tension. No, the Dragon's lusted for blood at the treatment of one of their kin.
  
  A war was waged, the Queen took Leonin as her crowned-husband, and Aniikin rose to the forefront of his Queen's army as their trump card. He did so without wavering loyalty, for the woman had shown him affection in the absence of his mother, and he saw her above all. At her bidding? He took up the dark arts of Sagni, and descended towards the madness of Necromancy.
  
  Yet-- how did such a powerful warlock end up where he is today? The truth of what had transpired through the Great War is a closely guarded secret that Aniikin would much rather never utter. It is a story of heartache and betrayal, of loss, and of blood spill.

  Aniikin's first real job, as masseuse in The Lion Den's. His stay here was short at best, for it was not too soon after his being hired that the boss of the establishment vanished suddenly. He grew close to a slave at the dream, Triggir, a bruit of a husky that he remains close with to this very day. Triggir introduced the necromancer to a female however, one Zhani that would grow to become one of his closest companions.
  
  

  
  

  Aniikin's stay here was longest out of any previous and to be mentioned in the future. His friend Zhani had asked him to come visit her here, where she worked. He wandered into the darkened tavern in the late of the night, becoming lost among its darkened halls. He would never forget that night, approaching the lone door along the corridor that shone out a crack of light. It was like a becon, attracting him dangerously to a spiders web.
  
  It was this night that be met Damien Thorn, and his life would never be the same again. He was inslaved this night, not forced but rather talked into a pact of protection. Damien was a demon with a hard exterior that Aniikin broke through easily during his days at The Painted Dragon. The first and only man Aniikin would call master, and the second to earn his hearts affections. Aniikin had developed a crush on the demon soon after he was 'captured'. Their relationship was a rocky one, with Damien swearing never to take a 'slave' as a mate. Instead, he granted Aniikin with the title of his 'lover'. The flamboyant dragon never liked the idea of being in second place, and after so many months of watching the man have another 'mate', he snapped. After a near suicide attempt, and a body full of scars, Damien released Aniikin from his enslavement.
  
  Aniikin fled from The Painted Dragon claiming he would never look back. However one fated night would meet the two again, and Aniikin was horrified at how changed the demon had become since they parted. Aniikin slowly drew out Damien's soft side, and the two finally had a potential future together-- but not for long. It did not take long for a ghost to surfaced from Damien's past to tear them apart. Frustrated and betrayed once more Aniikin turned away from Damien and vowed to kill the demon should he show his face to him once more.
  
  Aniikin has never been the same since originally meeting Damien. While The Painted Dragon is where Aniikin met various friends, he loathes visiting the establishment and as a result most of his friendships were lost over the years.
  
  

  
  

  Archway to Heaven, or, ATH as it has become known was a learning experience for Aniikin. Torn by the loss of Damien in his life, the man decided to thrust all of his emotional distress into an idea that has struck him. Aniikin decided to create his own establishment, but not having the funds he needed to secure a business partner. This is where he hooked up with Edmund, the Count. A wealthy man who seemed highly interested with the dragons abilities with the dead. For a trade, the man provided Aniikin with the funding he required. Aniikin himself provided the man with the closure to speak with a woman to whom Aniikin assumed was his wife.
  
  ATH was an Arabian palace themed establishment that started off with a bang, and Aniikin had at its peek a total of 15 employees. From nurses to entertainers, to servants-- the establishment meet the needs of any and all. During these busy waves however-- Aniikin started to crash. Mentally and physical exhausted from spending sleepless nights looking after paper work. With the combination of the emotional stress he had never addressed Aniikin was a walking time bomb. Finally, after months of neglecting his own health he snapped.
  
  A little known fact about the necromancer was his mental illnesses. Aniikin suffered from bipolar disease, which had been managed well until the ordeal with Damien. The psychotic episode that took place during Aniikins state of devastating mania had left the palace in ruins, one of his most beloved staff member’s half dead, and several people serious injured.
  
  It was at this point in his life, Aniikin was faced with a fork in the path of his life. He understood that he was spiraling down a road to self-destruction, and finally went seeking help. Aniikin handed over his establishment over to the Count.
  
  Aniikin himself however, is rarely seen around the new ATH. Rumor has it the man has started to change drastically. Gone was the innocence of the necromancer, and in its place where ignorance to the brutality of the world had been-- was now a much older and wiser being. Emotional, physical and physiological scars had changed this being for seemingly the better. No longer easily played, and having a much more critical view on the virtues of others, Aniikin had finally grown into the power he housed.
  
  Still pleasant and friendly, out going and vibrantly flamboyant-- the necromancer has finally traced his steps back to the roots in which he has come from. The word on the street is that the man has been visiting The Painted Dragon once again.

  
  

  
  

  Current Storyline
  It happened suddenly, the closure of Archway to Heaven. After five grand years, and the establishment was sealed and left where it floated. High into the heavens where it remained home to only those with wing to reach it. Aniikin? He has left the floating fortress searching for a new purpose, and a cure for the illness that plagues him. The disease was born of dark magic, and our dear necromancer fears it may not be easily cured. Too many years of devotion to the craft have left their mark upon him. His skin and muscle rotted clean from his bones, his magic decaying in the very core of him.
  
  His travels take him many places, perhaps he'll see you there?
